Give Yourself a Raise (Money Management): This free class provides an overview of topics such as financial goals, banking savings, budgeting and credit. The class will be held on Friday, Jan. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library near the East Central Community Center, 524 E. Stone in Spokane and on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook in Spokane.

Navigating Your Credit World: Develop a better understanding of how credit works and how to read your credit report. Also hear about collection practices and how to repair your credit. The class runs from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8 at the library near the East Central Community Center, 524 E. Stone in Spokane and on Monday, Jan. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Northeast Community Center.

First-time Homebuyer Education: The next SNAP-sponsored First-time Homebuyer class will be offered Feb. 10 and 12, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with the site to be announced. The Arc of Spokane will offer the class next month, Jan. 28-29, from 6 to 8:30 each night at its office at 320 E. Second Ave.
