October is Create Spokane, a month-long celebration of local arts and culture across creative industries and arts disciplines. Liz Bishop will give a Ceramic Demonstration: Get your hands on clay! See how it feels, with assistance from Liz on the potter’s wheel with her hands-on approach. Experience the beginning stage in working on the potter’s wheel. Forming a bowl out of a ball of clay is so magical. Louis Zody – Percussionist/Music Teacher, Introduction to Hand Drumming: Zody offers an interactive hand drum lesson. Come share your skills on the hand drum and learn how to improve them! Take turns playing and learning about hand drums. Visit the museum’s historic Campbell House in open house format to enjoy family-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt, creating a simple-to-make take home craft and more

Gonzaga’s student run, co-ed a cappella group. The group was founded in 1998 by Erica Heinz and has been singing around Gonzaga’s campus and around Spokane ever since. The group tours through the hometowns of its members during the summer and records a studio album every other year.
