Event Description: Travel Expert Rick Steves – Join us for his talk on “The Holy Land.” Steves has returned from yet another exploration into the world – this time, his focus was Israel and Palestine. With the help of vivid photographs, he’ll share the beauty of this conflict-ravaged area, and offer a glimpse at the challenges facing its ordinary citizens today The next best thing to traveling there yourself is hearing – and seeing – Steves’ report on his travels to the Holy Land. Event Description: Santa Express – Nov. 23-Dec. 23. 21st annual event of the holiday store where kids can experience the joy of giving. Children ages 4-12 can find affordable gifts for everyone on their shopping list. Volunteer elves are on hand to help the children select and wrap their gifts, with the net proceeds going to benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Adults can shop while they wait at Vanessa’s Village, a boutique of reasonably-priced, specialty items, are perfect for stocking stuffers, gifts for family and friends or secret Santas.
