Event Description: One-Stop Pre-School Shop at North Spokane Library – Several local preschools will gather at the library during our Play and Learn Storytimes to answer your questions and talk about their services. We will enjoy our usual stories and songs, and then you can research your options and learn more about resources like Early Achievers and Child Care Aware while your kids are entertained by engaging Play and Learn activities.

Event Description: “Imagine the World without Militaries” – Professor Van Inwegen’s Nonviolent Defense and Conflict Resolution class will display information about global military spending, alternative ways to use military funding, and highlights of countries that don’t have a military, March 18-April 2, with opening reception March 18, 4-5 p.m. and closing reception April 2, 4-5 p.m.
